Following his BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall (London) in 2024 with the BBC Philharmonic (Beethoven) conducted by Anja Bihlmaier, in the 2024-25 season, he will debut with Filharmonia Slaska (Beethoven), Hofer Symphoniker (“Niobe” by Richard Blackford) as well as with Gavle Symfoniorkester with Chloé van Soeterstède. His discography includes recordings for GENUIN and Alpha Classics, most recently with violin concertos by Sibelius and Rautavaara recorded with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royale de Liège conducted by Jean-Jacques Kantorow.
At age of 26, Tobias Feldmann was appointed as a professor at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg making him one of the youngest professors in the history of Germany. At the invitaCon of the Berliner Philharmoniker, he has performed as guest first concertmaster and since October 2022 has been professor at the renowned Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy“ in Leipzig, Germany.
He performs on a violin by Nicolo Gagliano, Naples 1769.
